Dear Harry & List:
Check with Apple Disability Support (877) 204-3039. Also with the makers of the Orbit. First thing to check is can you use the on-screen keyboard of your phone or IPad to enter a capital letter. If you can, it is an Orbit problem. Let the Orbit people know you tried the phone and it is working OK. Bad firmware is bothersome. /Brian K. Lingard Brian K. Lingard VE3YI, Ab2JI, B.. A., C. T. M. -----Original Message----- From: 'Harry Bell' via VIPhone [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: January 29, 2019 1:06 PM To: Abridged Recipients <[email protected]> Subject: Braille input problem in Mail app I can no longer type capital letters nor numbers in the Mail app when composing emails. I am running iOS 12.1.3 on iPhone XS and an Orbit Reader 20 which I recently updated to firmware version 01.01.57. Capital letters and numbers work fine in Notes, Pages, Contacts and Calendar but not in the Mail app nor in the Safari search bar. Because I updated both iOS and the Orbit firmware very recently, I have no idea where the fault lies. Does anyone have such problems or solutions?
