Yes, but I find the point where they are vibrating not pleasant and in a place where it is really loud that still isn’t enough. The point is that as soon as you plug up your ears and shut out the ambient noise you can hear them just fine and mine in fact came with a little plastic box with a set of foam earplugs, but of course for us blind folks that is exactly what we don’t want.

In this case the aftershocks that I have go around the back of your neck and rest below the ears. At this point, I’m really not finding them worth the investment and glad I did not spend more on aftershokz.
