Hi Richard,
Rather I swipe or flick, I get the exact same results.
Yes, as I said in my previous message, I do clear out the entire app switcher.
As I said in my previous message which ever channel I use, again, I get the
exact same results.

When you touch the area of the screen that says short text, you want to flick
up to change channels, not tap.
Also, have you cleared everything out of the app switcher?
You also did not say which channel you are using.
Richard

Hi All,
I used to be able to use the Seeing AI app until I got my new XR phone, but
now, for some unknown reason the app doesn't work 99.9 percent of the time.
When I open the app and hold it over a can of soup or a box, etc, sometimes it
will beep for a few seconds, and sometimes it just doesn't do anything, very
seldom it will try to mumble a few words that I can't understand, and the phone
also gets quite warm. I've just called Microsoft support through the Be My
Eyes app, and they told me they can't do any trouble shooting over the phone.
Although, they did read my can of soup to me, but I guess that might be all
they can do, not sure! LOL! All MS could tell me was to take it to an Apple
store, and let them see how it is acting because they think something must be
wrong with the hardware, or I might have some kind of virus or a worm, and
Apple needs to see this. MS also said the Seeing AI app is pretty strait
forward, so I shouldn't be having this problem. So my question is can anyone
tell me what settings to check to see if I have the app set up correctly?
I've uninstalled the app two times, and reinstalled it. I've picked the voice
I want to use for the app. I've checked the language, I've allowed the app to
use my camera. When I double tap on which reading option I want to use meaning
either to read a product, short text, document, etc, sometimes, voiceover just
completely stops talking, but I can still hear some tapping sounds, so I know
the phone or the app is doing something, but I have to close the Seeing AI app
through the app switcher, to get voiceover to talk again, and go back into the
app. Sometimes the screen jumps to the app switcher, or just closes the entire
app.
I've reset my phone up as a new phone two times since I've had it, I've reset
my network settings as well, so any opinions will be greatly appreciated!
Thank you all.
Janet

Peace Be With You.
