Hi Janet, I think that voice stream scanner is definitely the best scanning OCR application for your iPhone. I get much better results than I do with Seeing AI or KnFB. That app has actually deteriorated since it first came out in my opinion. I think he would be happy spending the six dollars for a Voice Dream scanner. Mary
