Hi Paula, So these apps will actually make a sound if the lights are on? Wow, now, that's pretty cool, and I will definitely search the app store for one of these. Thank you so much for letting me know, as I just really don't ever think of the lights. Shame on me! Smile!

I use light detector all the time and it works very well. I have a couple of switches where the light can be controlled from two different ends of the hall, so knowing whether the switch is down and the light is off doesn't work for those lights.
