I also listened to the keynote and did not hear how iTunes task would be 
handled outside of using it on the Mac.
I now wonder how you will be able to add music, ring tones, and other items if 
doing it from windows.

I also wonder if you will only be able to back up your device to icloud now, 
taking away the encrypted backup option to your computer.  As well as being 
only able to update your device over wi-fi.
My only thought is that they might incorporate the backup option into the 
icloud program that you can install on a windows computer.  Now this is just a 
thought, I have not heard anything confirming this.  One thing is for sure, 
there is a lot of unanswered questions.
