Mark, You're not alone. As ugly as I think the 4S is, I do think it feels a lot sturdier, a man's phone if you will. I don't know that I would call the iPhone 5 slippery, but no doubt the degree of durability took a toll to accomplish the degree of pizzazz Apple was shooting for. To call it fragile may be laying it on thick, but all this to say that for a 4S user, the hardware is not a motivator to upgrade. Just a little love for us 4S users who are looking on in envy at those with the latest and greatest. We'll thumb our noses when we switch sides and upgrade next year. It's just a natural cycle. But, don't let anyone tell you what to buy or not buy. It's your money. You decide.--Joe

In fact, the web is replete with such complaints from all over the world. To date, I have yet to drop my glass finished iPhone. I am clearly the odd-man out on this issue. (smile). Oh well, it's nice to be unique (even bigger smile). Everything you said about the 4S, I didn't like. I am extremely happy with the new iPhone 5's design. I dropped my 4S all the time, and I have yet to drop the five. I believe it's much lighter and much better design. It is not flimsy, but very sturdy. I'm sorry you felt differently. Phillip Tracy Sent from my iPhone. On Oct 1, 2012, at 1:41 PM, "M.
