That is not correct, I use SIRI all the time t make WhatsApp calls. This even works when WhatsApp is closed and the iPhone is locked. Let’s say I have John Smith as a WhatsApp contact, I will simply bring up SIRI and say “Call John Smith via WhatsApp” or “Call John Smiths with WhatsApp” or “Make a WhatsApp call to John Smith”.
