To block these calls, you can go to
www.nomorobo.com and sign up. There is no charge
for land lines, but there is a charge for cell
phones. We have found this service to work quite well.

Don't provide personal information to anyone who
calls you. Make sure when you call them, you are
using a number you have verified. Make sure they
represent who they claim ... those of us who
don't have M$ products can be pretty certain
it's a scam from the start ;> . Folks with
windows based systems should keep track of your
support calls and charges ... if you never made
a call, you aren't really going to get a refund
(indeed, I'ver never heard of M$ actually
issuing a refund, so that's pretty dubious in and of itself!)
