First, if you only want the Facebook birthdays to show when you want them to, you can double tap on the calendars button and go to Facebook and to birthdays and double tap the Facebook birthdays and that will take them all out. The reverse process if you want them again. If you want to keep them showing, you can deal with the problem by finding the "today" button at the bottom left of the screen. Double tap that and slide your finger up to today's date and then you can start flicking right to get today's appointments. It's the only way I could find to avoid flicking through a whole year of events. It works well but I prefer to turn off the birthday calendar and go back to it if and when I want to check birthdays. In that process I guess I okayed adding the birthdates of all my facebook friends on my calendar. This would be fine except it populated all of the dates from October 2011 through all of 2014. Is there any way to eliminate all past dates or is this an IOS 6 glitche that I have to wait to have fixed? Has anyone else encountered this?
