Sieghard, In Canada do they allow you to buy the Gold membership at once? I have in the past paid $149 for 12 credits, which is usually 12 books, which comes out to about $12.50 per book and you can use them anytime, rather than just once a month. Since our National Library Service is getting more and more of the commercial audio books I did not renew with Audible.

Audible has kept the Canadian membership price at the same $14.95 except it's now charged in Canadian Dollars. From time to time they also have special sales where a selection of a couple of hundred books are all offered for $5.95 or $6.95 or as just now for the Canadian Thanks-Giving weekend, you can buy two books with 1 credit.
