After the phone reboots you have to rejoin your WiFi including entering your
password and if your phone was called something like Donald's iPhone you
have to go to Settings > General > About and rename it. After a Reset
Network Settings the name is simply reset to "iPhone".
Often doing this can have a very positive effect.

Battery health says it is at about 87%.
No navigation apps open as far as I can tell from the app switcher.

I have noticed in the two weeks since I upgraded my iPhone 8 to iOS
13.1.2 tghat my battery life is significantly shorter. As in from a
100% charge with hte phone just sitting on my desk not plugged in and
when I am not using it for anything, the battery drains to 50% within
a couple of hours.
If I am listening to an audio book, it can go to 0% within 3-4 hours.
Has anyone else noticed this issue, and is there any way to help
preserve battery life?
I will be travelling in a few weeks and I need my phone to be working
at its best then.

seemed to solve the problem.
