No, it simply means that the plug on the headset is USB-C, the cable which comes with it still has a regular USB-A type plug on the other end so you can plug it into any computer or wall adapter such as the one of your iPhone. But if you have a laptop with USB-C port or a USB-C wall adapter with a USB-C to USB-C cable you can use it and I believe this would probably allow for USB-C fast charging. The cable which comes with it by the way is super short, probably no more than 6 inches, great if you use it next to a laptop or if you have a wall adapter plugged in to an outlet above a counter.

They are also on-ear, one small disadvantage is that they seem to fit a little bit tighter than the Logitech H800, but still fairly comfortable.
