Correction: touch at the bottom and you will hear a popping sound. Slowly
slide up and the first vibration and pop will represent hitting the home
button once. This happens when you lift your finger. If you continue sliding
up you will feel another vibration and hear a higher pop sound. when you
lift your finger this will be the app-switcher.
Starting from the top and sliding down. the 1st vibration and pop opens
and that opens the control center. The next vibration and pop opens
notification.

For Ap Switcher on the 11, which would be the same:
1. Place finger at the bottom of the screen.
2. Flick up until it bops twice.
3. You're there. Flick up with three fingers to close aps. I do it all day
long.
I am so thankful to have had the information about how the newer phones
worked, studied them, and never had a problem. My husband was so relieved,
because he knows less about each newer phone that comes out. I did not
need his help.
