Yes the assistive touch feature is ment for people with poor motor skills, but it is also coool because it gives the newer phones without home buttons a home button. You just double tap the asssistive touch button on the bottom of the screen or whereever you have placed it and then a menu comes up with options like notifications and home and others. It is really neat. I had no idea that the app switcher was already there under devices and more. thanks everyone for the help. I just cannot seem to get the swiping up gesture to work, So I will access the app switcher from this assistive touch menu. Thanks everyone for the help.
