Hello,

I would recommend using WayAround tags for this. You can record the contents of
each box with a tag then duct tape or packing tape the tag to the box. You
record and read the tags using an iPhone or Android phone. Note that the tags
are completely reusable so you will have them after you unpack all the boxes
for any other tagging jobs.

To learn more about WayAround tags, check their web site at:
wayaround.com

WayAroundare currently hosting Zoom weekly sessions to introduce the tags and
provide tipson usage by others. The web site will lead you to these.

WayAround is currently offering a discount, 15% I think, on their tags. I
believe their dealers are also offering the discount. You can order from
WayAround or ATGuys in the U.S. In Canada, only Canadian Assistive Technology
sells the WayARound products.

i hope this helps,

Hello Everyone,

I need to find a way to generate some barcode labels or, perhaps, purchase
some barcode labels that I can slap on moving boxes.

My first solution was to use the Digit Eyes app but, after trying for over
2-hours, with three different computers, Including Windows 7, Windows 10,
and Mac OS Catalina, and 2 different laser printers, and, after purchasing
the blank Avery labels the developer said I should get, I cannot get the
printed barcodes to line up correctly on the actual labels. I am extremely
disappointed in this aspect of the digit Eyes app for iOS. The funny thing
is that the test print pages for Digit Eyes line up perfectly. It is the
generated PDF document that, even on screen, are not centered correctly. I
was told by the developer that they now generate their barcodes via Google.
Whatever! I have wasted enough time with Digit Eyes with regard to
generating audio labels.

Does anyone know of another off-the-shelf solution?

Can one buy pre-printed barcodes that one could use with Digit Eyes? Or some
other way I can reliably label boxes in order to have my phone tell me the
contents of the box?

All replies greatly appreciated.

Mark
