If you are using headphones, and wanting it back on speaker, toward the bottom right of the numpad screen is a Hide button. This hides the numpad, and then near the top, you will find 6 buttons roughly where 1 through 6 would have been. I believe the second or third one is Speaker. Double tap that and see if it works.
