Hello friends, A friend of mine has recently received his new iPhone SE, his first Apple device.
Due to the current virus situation here in the UK we cannot get together for me to help him get used to it. There are two issues with his Phone App that I have not experienced with all my iPhones. Firstly, when on a call his SE appears to lock itself. It does not switch between speaker phone and normal operation when moved to and from his ear. When on speaker phone, he has no VoiceOver feedback so cannot find or activate the End Call button or enter digits on the phone’s keypad. It appears that the device locks itself when on a call as pressing the Home button VoiceOver is restored and he can use other apps and so on while on a call. The other issue is that if he lifts his phone off a table when it rings to answer it the call is sent to his voice mail. Raise To Wake is disabled. Any suggestions welcome.
