In all the years that I've been working with all these software driven electronics, I've seen all kinds of strange things happen. What I'm getting ready to ask you to try may make little to no sense. So here it goes, go into ring with vibration setting if it's on turn it off. then reboot your phone. go back into the ring with vibration setting at this point it should be off. Turn it back on. Hopefully that will resolve your issue, however, if it does not 2 more things to do. reboot the iPhone again, if it's still not working, well, my next step would be go to the nearest apple store. since you've tried just about everything, and hung in there, Carolyn, I hope it all works out.
