Welcome to the joys of a new phone. I had to reset all settings, which ends up that you have to re-login to pretty much everything, but that fixed it for me. You may want to ask Apple Accessibility to do a screen share and run the diagnostics in case you happen to have a bad WiFi antenna in your phone, but that is unlikely.
