Reggie, I just made an appointment for myself like this:
Me:
"Make an appointment for September 27 called Dinner with Carol."
SIRI:  "What time?"
Me:  "5 pm."\\
SIRI:  "what is the location?"
Me:  "My house."

"Carol Baker or Carol Davis?"

I did not deliberately leave the time out; I just forgot and I wanted to show
you that SIRI will ask. And at the time I forgot that there are two Carols in
my address book.

I get a notifications about all of my appointments; those are, I think,
different from using the reminder app, which I never do.

I have tried using siri to put things on the calendar. It never works for me.
Can someone tell me the sequence to give siri the contents of the event please?
How do I set the two reminders with Siri?

Using type with Siri and keeping hey Siri on makes for a great combination;
you can very easily create complex events without Siri misunderstanding what
you are saying. This--as far as I can tell--replicates FantastiCal without the
price. Thanks to those who figured out this solution.
