I just figured out how to remkve ones you have added. After the last widget, activate the edit button. Then, at the bottom of all that, activate the customize button. Then, touch the asp you want to move or remove, and flick up or down with one finger. You will have remove, move up or move down depending on its position. Talk about making something more complicated. I'm not suoe I would ever want widgets on my main screen as they are wider and taller than standard app cons and will move apps you have onto the following screens. My wife described them as about 1.25 inches tall, and most of the width of the screen.

Note that the stacked widgets are interesting. They're like six widgets in one. You can edit them to delete widgets you don't want on the stack and rearrange the ones that are left.
