Hello, I was also similarly disappointed when there was not going to be touch ID in this year's iPhone. I thought for sure that since the iPad Air was getting touch ID if you have the power button that surely at least one of the iPhone 12 models would also include it. I guess I'll be spending another year with my iPhone XR which I agree is Apple's best phone to date.
