You can change your Apple Id email and this way all your purchases remain associated with that Apple Id. I highly recommend people get an Outlook or Gmail email address once and be done with changing email addresses for the rest of their lives. If you have an @outlook.com or an @gmail.com email then that is yours for as long as you want it and it makes no difference who your provider is. In Arnold's case I see he is using als5...@gmail.com as the email address for this group, why not just go to http://appleid.apple.com , sign in with whatever your current Apple Id credentials are and then change the email address to that gmail email address and you never have to worry about it again.
