No one has yet mentioned the google home that I have. My mom bought
me one as a gift a few years ago. I subscribe to youtube music which
used to be google play music until google did away with it recently.
I enjoy using my google home for not only listening to music, but for
asking questions about how to spell words playing a few games and
asking it to give me recipes. I can also listen to bard books or
audible books from my iPhone if I connect to my iPhone via bluetooth.
The sound is pretty good. I might get me an echo soon because I hear
that that device might be able to read bookshare books soon. It is
great to have many choices when it comes to smart speakers. I won't
get any kind of home pod because I've got all the music I want from
youtube music and I really don't like apple music all that much. They
don't have as much classic country and bluegrass as google does. I've
got around 400 gigs worth of music of my own and I have no idea how
I'd get that music on to Itunes. I wouldn't need to get the music on
my iPhone.
