My experience with voiceover losing focus within mail, only occurs when I use
the scroll bar to get to the bottom of my email list. If I use the 3 finger
swipe up gesture to get to the bottom of my list of emails, after deleting a
read email, voiceovers focus stays at the bottom of my list of emails. The
focus seems to jump back to the top of the list of emails when the scroll bar
is used, because even though the percentage shown is 100%, there is a lag with
the scroll bars actual advancing. I have confirmed this by using the scroll bar
vs the swiping gesture within safari & the Facebook app where an article or
comment list has multiple pages.
