In my experience Waltr2 has transferred tones to iPhones that iTunes has failed to transfer.
Also, assuming it is legal for you to do so, Waltr2 will allow you to transfer tones to friend’s iPhones without the complications that iTunes impose. It’s all about personal choice and what may suit one person may not be suitable for others.
