I disagree, and believe that some bluetooth headphones sound better than
others on a call. The Plantronics 5200 and prior generations sound pretty good.
If you get a headset from blueparrot, you'll find that their microphones are
great, and those tend to be used by truckers. I mean, call quality depends on
your carrier and whether or not you are on an HD call, as well as on the phone
in question, but some headsets are better than others to be sure.

others on a call.

I have noticed an issue with the Aftershokz Trekz Air on Zoom calls, as
folks tell me that my audio starts good but then drops out.

The only trouble is that the microphones on the Aftershokz is passable at
best, not what I would call high quality, so sometimes, your speech may not be
understood, but most of the time, it's fine.

        Hello,

Yes, the first sound is cut off, unfortunately, with the Aeropex, and
so far as I know, this has been the case for Aftershokz products for the past
couple of years or so.

I’ve recently been on the hunt for either bone conduction or audio
glasses to use with my iPhone 12 pro and VO. I just returned a pair of Echo
Frames. They were actually quite good and I would have kept them but battery
life was dismal only going for a few hours, nowhere near a full day of useage.

I just received and have been using the Aftershokz Open

Comm. Although they have several different models now, I got the
OpenComm due to their longer talk time of 16 hours. They are pretty good but
with a couple of issues.

1.. Using the multi function button to involk siri doesn’t work
although the button work fine for other functions.
2.. The first part of a word is often cut off, maybe some sort of
battery saving logic.
I’m wondering if you have run into either one of these issues with
the AeroPex model?

I’d appreciate any thoughts on this. I’ve already done things like
forgetting and re-pairing the headset and also have done a reset as well.
Unfortunately not working with Siri is a deal breaker for me but I really like
the headset otherwise so am terying to see if there is anything I can do to get
it working properly. Aftershokz support thus far has not responded to me
regarding these issues.

          Hello,

I've tried a number of different ones, but the Aftershokz were the
best in terms of audio quality, sound leakage, and comfort. I use the Aeropex,
and find them to be the best ones yet.

          Thanks.
