I strongly disagree. Having bought the apps separately, I do not feel like I got a bad deal at all. I've been able to use the stand-alone app all this time for quick and accurate scans, and as the tweet I've quoted severl times in various messages, the stand-alone app will still be beneficial for quick scans. With the stand-alone app, you open it, point it at a document, piece of mail, whatever, and in seconds you have a result. With the Reader application, you have to open it, select add, and then select scanner. By the time I do that, I could have already had the scan done.
