Yep. My XR's fine and all and under normal circumstances, I'd probably try to wait at least another year at least to replace it, but if this year's phone's come with touch ID included, I'll probably pull the trigger. I was never a fan of ace ID and much less this past year. That and while I can still sort of use the phone one-handed, a smaller size phone is probably more my jam. Getting back to the actual question in the thread, the voice memos app should do the trick. When I'm out and about and have to take a business call, I'll just launch the voice memos app on my second iPhone and record/dictate whatever I need to take down for later note taking once I’m back home. Sound quality is perfectly fine.
