Yes the newer power bricks for the iPhones have or should I say had the 18w supply and a Usb type c slot to a lightening connector.
Why throw away the 5w bricks, It's only the charging speed that is the issue, If you don't use your phone over night, Just charge it then, And the slow speed charge isn't going to hert the phone.
