There's a lot more to an Apple product then just whether it includes a charger or not. Of course, if this is a deal breaker for you then by all means switch to another product, but I don't think there's anything wrong with people asking for a charger with their product. It's perfectly understandable to me that for the price Apple is charging for their products one could expect a charger. I can also see where people can want a charger without having to change to a new device and ecosystem.
Of course, Apple may not listen or may have already made the calculation that the few sales they lose will be more then made up by how much they save by not including chargers or the good will they get by being more environmentally friendly.
