Have you ever tried to collect from a credit card insurance plan? I have a $400 a year Aeroplan Infinite Vis card here in Canada which is one of the best cards there is and once or twice I tried to use the insurance features and each time they found something to turn down the claim. I have the card because I get a ton of reward points through it, but I find that many of the insurance options these cards claim to offer are greatly exaggerated.
