I don’t know about blocking a message sender, But you can delete bulk messages by going in to messages, Clicking on the edit button at the very top left,
Then select Select messages, Then go through and select each message you wish to delete, Note this doesn’t have to be every message, And then right at the very bottom of the screen or page is a delete, Or if you wanted the other side, There is a read all just above it.
