I am not the same person you were writing to, but the last thing in contacts
for me is, import sim contacts. Why is this and what does this mean?

Janet, normally, they don't get save to the Sim card. They're normally
either safe to iCloud or a Google account or a Outlook account. To check
with their going, you can go to settings,/contacts. Then your swipe all the
way down to the bottom, and you'll hear something that says default account,
and mine says iCloud.
