I am surprised to hear you say this about the OpenComm. The mic quality is
quite decent, actually, and they are far from being quiet. I've actually
used them to record a number of podcasts on my YouTube channel, which have
turned out quite fine. I also use them daily for phone calls and, again,
they work quite well.
As for muting a call, you can certainly mute a call. You need to press both
volume buttons once, and a call will be muted. Please see

you are working from home and want to use them for that, then you may be

I find the Open Comm head band to be very comfortable, more so than the
band on my Trex Titanium. Just how flexible it is I can't say for sure as I
did not need to try to alter it.
I think the microphone does deliver a better result than other models. It
is at the end of a pivoting boom arm and thus is closer to your mouth. The
boom arm also contains a secondd microphone which is used to do some noise
cancellation functions. This really helps deliver a clear vocal input
signal when you are in a loud or noisy environment.

I am personally a fan of the Aftershokz OpenComm headset, simply because it
is similar to their other headsets, particularly the Aeropex, with an added
boom mic, which greatly enhances the experience for phone calls. Their last
few generations have included multi-pairing, and this includes the OpenComm.
