Dude,

Going to a 2TB phone storage,
I can’t see why you would need that much on a phone / mobile device!

Especially with the likes of iCloud and it allowing us to save to the cloud…

And the camera bump

I think they are bigger on my 13pro max
Than it was on my 11 pro max,

And the 13pm is definitely thicker than the 11pm.

So would they not have to somewhat force the cameras back in to the body of the
phone rather than making the phones thicker again.

But all good thoughts in these rumours.

Yes, this article seems to indicate it's only possible for 2023, but in another
one I read recently and I can't remember where that was the author seemed to
think it's still possible, but if so it would only be in the Pro models.
In most articles there seems to be agreement as to the 48 Megapixel rear
camera, a big improvement to the front camera, a very similar design yet
slightly thicker which means no more camera bump and possibly with a stronger,
tougher yet lighter Titanium frame and round volume buttons like they were on
the iPhone 4/4S.
Maybe just as with fashion old designs come back eventually except it takes
only 10 or so years instead of 30 or 40.
There also seems to be consensus that the Mini will go away and that there will
be two iPhone 14 models and two iPhone 14 Pro models both with something like a
6.1 and 6.7 inch screen and I also read a few times that the top storage option
may go from 1 Tb to 2 Tb, maybe only on the Pro models which maybe necessary
due to much larger image file sizes for both pictures and video with the
improved camera.
I also read that one author feels there will be an increasing price difference
between the regular and Pro models.
But, they are all just rumors, fun to read, but in the end they don't matter a
bit or at least not until we get to May or June when reliable leakers really
start nailing them down.

Sieghard, thank you for sharing the full article. For those of us who would
hope for an under-display Touch ID, it seems some don’t think this will happen.
Below is a quote from the article:

According to Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple is working on iPhones that will
feature under-display Touch ID, but these devices are not expected to launch
until 2023. Other sources like Bloomberg have disagreed that Apple is focused
on under-display Touch ID, and it's not clear if the feature would be included
in Apple's flagship iPhones or devices like a future iPhone SE.

Dennis already answered your question, but depending on what you have now I
would seriously consider to wait for the iPhone 14. I just read an article
where it said that the 14 Pro models may very well still get under the screen
Touch Id in addition to Face Id and depending on how bad this current chip
shortage issue is next year, Apple may drastically increase the performance of
the A16 chip (as well as the new chips they use in their Mac computers of
course).
In the below Mac Rumors article all of these rumors are nicely summarized and
explained, but this article does not mention another one I saw recently where
they expect that the iPhone 14 will use a chip based on 3 Nanometer
architecture which could have up to 40 cores, I assume that if this won't be in
the iPhone 14 it will be in the iPhone 15 in 2023.
Another rumored featured I look forward to is the ability to send emergency
messages by satellite if no cellular connectivity is available. There are
currently devices which can do this like the Garmin Inreach family of GPS's,
the "Zoleo" satellite communicator and the Spot X Satellite Communicator.
Inreach and Zoleo use the Iridium Satellite network, Spot uses Globalstar. The
rumor is that the iPhone 14 will use a chip from Qualcomm which has satellite
capabilities and this would be a pretty big deal for many who live in remote
areas or who venture out for outdoor activities up here in Canada where often
you have no cellular coverage. Actually, there are often emergency situations
where people from Vancouver who are not at all equipped and capable go on hikes
in the Northshore mountains just outside Vancouver because they see some nice
picture on Instagram and want to experience the place and then they end up in
some situation where Search and Rescue has to come get them and even there just
a few miles outside Vancouver you often have valleys and areas in the mountains
where cell coverage just doesn't exist.
Anyways, here is a link to the article:

Does the 13 Pro Max have LiDAR? Also how is the battery life?

Hi all:
Just purchased a 13 Pro Max. Let me tell you, transferring the data from my
8Plus is a pain. Took me forever to line up the pairing circles. Wish VO would
give haptick feedback when you are lining them up. So far, I like the 13 pro
max.
