One very annoying property of iOS15.1 is that the feature of switching to SPEAKER automatically during a telephone call when you move the phone away from your ear seems to be badly broken. There was a thread in this list discussing the matter where it was suggested that a single finger right flick (or left) would resolve this bug, this has not worked for me. If I had to do it over again knowing this, I would have remained with iOS15.0; I recommend you do not load iOS15.1 unless using the speaker during a call is a non-factor for you.
One consequence of the above described bug is that “Be My Eyes” is rendered quite useless for me because I’m not able to communicate with the volunteer answering my request. I find it nearly impossible to accurately aim the phone to transmit a decent picture of the item I need identified with the phone pressed up against my ear. * * * * * * * * * * * * - Bill from Ino, Wisconsin - "What we do comes out of who we believe we are." - Rob Bell -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
