Hello All,

Okay, here is the scenario:

1.
Both my phone and watch have their respective displays off; this is to say
that I am not interacting with either of them.

2.
I receive a text message. (Keep in mind that I do not know, at this point,
that it is a text message but I receive hap tic feedback on my watch
indicating that I have some kind of notification.)

3.
I raise my witch and tap the surface of the watch which immediately wakes up
the display. At this point, I can see some kind of an icon on the watch
display but, as I move my finger across the display (or even single-finger
tap the display), VoiceOver says absolutely nothing.

What am I missing, here? What setting do I need to change in order to have
VO read either the notification, itself, or at least, the type of
notification I just received?

Just so you know, if I single-finger, double-tap the display with the
notification icon, the notification opens into its related app.

All replies, greatly appreciated.

Mark
