Hi. Be careful about the unlimited plan. I know other mobile providers offer unlimited plans, and they technically are, but once a certain amount of data is reached, the bandwidth is throttled back. The data is unlimited, but the speed goes way down. I can’t confirm Spectrum does this, but I wouldn’t be surprised.

The way the service works is that Spectrum tries to use its hotspots to create and keep calls. If no hotspot is available and if you are not using Spectrum internet, then the Mobile service defaults to Verizon. There are two options. The first gives you 1GB of data for $14.95 and the second gives you unlimited data for $42.95 I believe. Now, the data is all about Verizon use. So, if you are connected and Spectrum Mobile uses only Wi-Fi, then you incur no charges no matter how much data you use. You also can switch between options at will. When I travel I switch to the unlimited version and then back again when I return home.
