I never knew about not releasing the button until through speaking. I do guess at when to ask Siri, because I cannot hear the signal that they have now. My guess rate is quite satisfactory; it has surprised me.

I will say, however, that the only problem I seem to be having with dictation these days is Siri putting periods where they do not be long. Apparently, Siri thinks that any sort of complex sentence needs to be broken up even if it really is a perfectly good sentence, and does not need To be broken up.
