Hello All, Okay, based on my research I cannot find any Apple articles that discouraged leaving an iPhone 14 on a charger, when not in use.
You old-timers will recall that, once upon a time, it was recommended that one not leave a phone on a charger, when not in use, full-time. It was thought that doing so would shorten the life of the battery. I found an Apple community thread that discusses this and the conclusion is that leaving a 14 attached to a charger, when not in use, will, in no way damage or shorten the life of the battery. Question: Does anyone have any credible statements / sources to the contrary? If so, please post them as this can make a difference to the life of the battery, in the long run. Unlike in the past, I want to consider all aspects of keeping my iPhone battery healthy from the very beginning. All replies greatly appreciated.
