I still can’t figure out how to get rid of the double notifications. I used to only get my remindersand notifications at the appointed hour and those were settings done in notifications. With 16 I now have those alerts as well as messages in the “notification center.” No matter if it is on or off, it still gives me those alerts and hangs onto them until I clear them. I never used to have to do that. I do not know what phone I might even want once the SE dies, and that is too bad because I am glued to my phone as is. It’s fortunate that the apps I use work fine. I only get the new, quieter, tone if I hold in the button. Both Apple and Windows seem to think everyone has super hearing the way their tones have lowered in volume.
