| I will try this method the next time I need to move an app. I have always thought it were as if something was slugish somehow and wasn't quite following the swiping to get to what I want. By no means is it 100 percent acurate, but I have discovered that if I swipe two selections beyond what I want, then swipe back to it, it usually does what I want. that, if I was really patient and waited for VO to fully finished saying the phrase “drop after blah, blah blah” and gave it one more short pause, my success rate for getting the app where I wanted it was much higher.

I have a row on my home screen that is empty except for one app. I want to place an app to the right of that one lone app on that row. I can’t do it consistently. I sometimes create folders without wanting to do so. VoiceOver announces “Drop App X before (or after) app y, and that’s what I want to do, but when I double-tap, I’ve created a folder. Then I have to drag an app out of the folder to get
