So I googled this issue and found a website that suggested redownloading the audible books. So I deleted my downloaded books from the app and then redownloaded them. This seems to have resolved the problem. I was able to listen to three different books while off line. I'm just glad that I didn't have to uninstall the app and then reinstall it. Thank you for all of your help and suggestions.
