Hello Everyone, The following scenario took place earlier this week. 1. On Thursday, updated Apple TV HD (with first generation Siri remote) and Apple TV 4K, first gen, to tvOS 16.3.
2. After updating Apple TV HD (with Siri remote) to tvOS 16.3, discovered that VoiceOver click & touch navigation was broken. After doing some troubleshooting with list member Ed, managed to get feature working but not consistently. When feature did work, display UI was choppy. After updating Apple TV 4k (first gen) to tvOS 16.3, VoiceOver click & touch navigation functioned as expected 3. On Friday morning, checked for update on Apple TV HD and got the message that the device was up to date wit the latest software. 4. Went to Apple and purchased Apple TV 4k (third gen), 128GB (with Ethernet port). 5. Installed and setup Apple TV 4k (third gen). 6. After updating Apple TV 4k (third gen) to tvOS 16.3, VoiceOver click & touch navigation functioned as expected. 7. Decided to reset Apple TV HD back to factory defaults before permanently removing it from my network. During the reset process, was told that the unit would be updated to the latest software version. This took quite a bit of time, more than usual. 8. After Apple TV HD was successfully reset, I began the installation software setup process, as if I were going to add the device back to my network. As you can guess, after the reset and subsequent software update, VoiceOver click & touch navigation functioned as expected. The End.
