A good deadbolt is really all you need, these old twist handles where you have a button you can push in or where you push in and twist the handle to lock it are really not rated for exterior doors; they are good for privachy doors like a bathroom or bedroom, but they would not stand up to any sort of force. I prefer a good smartlock deadbolt and a nice lever-style handle, but then I am Germany and we never had round door handles which you had to twist, even when I was a little child in the late 60's interior as well as exterior doors had lever-style push down handles.
