If the keypad is not showing you have to tap the button to show it. You will find buttons for things like Mute, Add Call and so on and one button will say "Keypad". Same applies if you are on a call and the keypad shows, but you want it to go away because maybe you want one of these buttons to mute a call or add another caller to a 3-way call. You have to go to the very bottom right of the keypad past the pound key (you can do this by tapping the bottom half of the screen with 4 fingers) and you find a button called "Hide", this will hide the keypad and reveal the other buttons.
