This may help. It is that voiceover is coming through the ear piece, not the speaker. I think that I remember that it is easier to use with headphones than trying to hear it through the ear hole on your phone and do things with it. I hope this is the case, you will have to hear voiceover to do the following. Open the app, and go into the find tab. Settings should be the second choice in the find tab. Go into settings, and swipe to hands free with alexa, and check it. This should fix it, or at least, I think this is how I fixed it.
