I would call Apple Accessibility and ask them to walk you through a diagnostic and send them the results which only takes a few minutes. If something is going south with your phone's bluetooth, that might solve it. ,

I also have hearing aids and they are loosing the connection in different ears at different times. Same issues with aftershocks and Bose glasses.
I think it also happens when phone is in speaker mode but it is less noticeable. I could turn off bluetooth for calls but I have a medical device connected so prefer not to do that. Anyone come up with a solution? I’m running a iPhone 10S with 16.5.1.

I would be interested to find out if anyone else has run into this issue and if so, what may have been done to correct it short of if it all possible, resetting the device to factory defaults and erasing all data and contacts.
